The Great North Museum: Hancock Competition

Hi Everyone,

The Great North Museum: Hancock has a fab competition for the Kids:

“Design a character or creature and you could have it professionally drawn by one of the artists from Atomhawk Design Ltd. - the studio behind our exhibition Other Worlds.

Will you invent a new superhero or a mythical beast? It's up to you. Let your imagination run free and include as much detail as you can.

Send photos or scans of your creations to atomhawk@greatnorthmuseum.org.uk by Friday 3 April and we will pick our favourites to send to the artists.“ (details taken direct from the museums Facebook page)

Disney Movie Marathon

Hi Everyone,

It seems like a perfect day for a Disney Duvet Day. Here's a few ideas to get you started 😊 🍿

The Animal Guyz

Hi Everyone,

The Animal Guys have produced some fantastic content for us all to enjoy during this difficult time. We as a family have seen their live shows many times, they are always hilarious and their passion for animals is truly inspiring. We can't recommend them enough.

"So we have been working hard between the 3 of us in 3 different locations and in lock down to create some fun videos and they are now ready to view. As well as the videos you can also visit our website Theanimalguyz.com and view the “things to do” page as we have created some print outs and fun things for the kids there too.

Visit our Youtube channel now (link below) and enjoy some of the videos uploaded today.
Our first show episode 1 is on there NOW and at 7:15pm our 30min Pilot TV show will premier for you all to watch.

Tomorrow evening we will see the “Steven challenge” video go live.

We will be releasing a new video we have created every 3 days for everyone to enjoy and fill a bit of their day.

Please follow and subscribe to our channel and don’t forget we would love to hear your thoughts on what we have done.

We hope you and your family are all safe and coping well in your homes."
